Land
An infrequent opportunity to acquire an existing agricultural barn, approached by a lengthy private track off Bolehill Road, in a delightful rural environment but with close connecting footpath to Wirksworth.
Ideally situated for ease of access to the lower Peak District area, Matlock and Matlock Bath, with its leisure attractions and other amenities, the barn has the benefit of full planning permission for conversion to a holiday cottage.
If constructed in accordance with the approved drawings it will have some double storey accommodation and some single storey accommodation comprising
Entrance lobby area with cloaks/wc off and winding staircase to first floor. Large living room with bedroom platform above, dining kitchen with further bedroom off, first floor landing with two further bedrooms and bathroom. There would also be an attached utility/store.
To the front of the building is a two car parking and turning area, a stone paved patio area with shrubbery, and a small enclosed garden to rear.
Planning Details
The building has the benefit of full planning consent granted by Derbyshire Dales District council under reference 10/00696/FUL on 6th December 2010. A copy of the planning permission and drawings are available from the auctioneers on request.
Directions
From Wirksworth town centre take the Cromford Road and two thirds of the way up the hill turn right into New Road. At the T-junction turn right following the lane down the hill for about 100 yards before turning right where a car park will be found on the left hand side (opposite the Boleshill Institute). It is suggested that you park car at this point and make the remainder of the journey on foot. The barn will be found at the extremity on the right hand side.
