Place of Worship
DRAFT DETAILS
The Chapel was built in 1820, and is of red-brick construction with a cement render, under a hipped roof overclad with slate tiles. Access is via stone steps off Main Street, via double timber doors leading to a Chapel, which is open-plan with mock-timber cladding to the walls, with an underlined clad ceiling. The side elevations have two, sixteen-pane sash windows with stone sills. There is a choir stall at mezzanine level, with timber stairs and cast-iron supports.
The property is located off Main Street within Worthington, which is a Village lying approximately four-miles north-east of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and six-miles south of Castle Donington. The property is edge-of-pavement, and is bordered by residential properties to the side and rear.
Chapel - 6.9m depth x 5m width. 371 sq. ft. / 34.5 sqm.
2.25m depth x 5m width. 121 sq. ft. / 11.25 sqm.

The property was previously used as a Place of Worship, which falls within Use Class F1, as defined by the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987, (Amended) (England) Regulations 2020. The property is Grade-II Listed. In our opinion, the property is suitable for a variety of uses, and we would recommend that any interested parties make their own enquiries with North-West Leicestershire District Council, the local planning authority. May be suitable for alternative uses, subject to obtaining the necessary consents. Prospective buyers must make all necessary independent enquiries in this respect for their specific, intended use prior to placing their bid, as this will be binding.
We are informed that the building only has mains electricity connected. There is no water or drainage connected.
