What are the benefits for estate agents partnering with an auctioneer?

Often the first question asked, our partners of course need to know what benefits there are when partnering with us. The good news is, there is plenty of incentive to join us and sell your properties through our auction services.

As a partner, you’ll have access to all the support and resources needed to offer auction services to clients without doing so in-house. As such, you’ll have no set-up costs and have an additional selling platform within just minutes. This can lead to additional revenue that requires less investment from internal teams. You’ll also benefit from a referral income of 1.5%-2% per sale, with no cap on how much you can sell and earn. Due to the nature of auction, this will also happen at a faster pace and our agents will get paid within seven days of the sale being agreed. 

Other benefits include: 

  • Increased turnover with lower workloads – our team takes care of everything so you can see a higher turnover of sales without additional overtime from agents.
  • Reduced fall-throughs – the binding nature of auction bids means that sales rarely ever collapse. Gazumping and drop-outs are eliminated meaning the selling process is shorter.
  • Personal rewards and internal training – we provide internal training and development to support the growth of your team. We also provide personal rewards for the referring agent, having gifted everything from hampers to holidays to show our appreciation for the partnership.

How much commission do partners get?

Our partners get a minimum of £2,500 or 1.5%-2% per sale, with no cap on how many sales can be made. Additionally, partner estate agents also get personal rewards on us, such as hampers and holidays, so there is even more incentive to sell with us.

Which properties should be listed as auction lots?

Auctions are our speciality and we’ll never push you into an auction sale if we don’t think a property should be sold using this method. As such, becoming a partner doesn’t mean you have to favour the auction route and neglect your usual agency sales, rather it’s important to see us as an additional option to enhance your operations and filter out properties that you don’t see selling well on the open market.

As part of our POW_R partnership service, you also gain access to guidance and advice from our experienced team who can provide advice and support when it comes to deciding how and whether to sell a property by auction.
