Supporting the growth of the High Street Rental Auction (HSRA) Programme

SDL Property Auctions welcomes new local authorities to the scheme
As the High Street Rental Auction (HSRA) Early Adopter Programme continues to expand, SDL Property Auctions, part of Eddisons, is thrilled to see more local authorities joining this groundbreaking initiative.
The programme, which initially launched with councils like Bassetlaw, Darlington, and Mansfield, now includes eight additional councils, such as Barnsley, Camden, and Westminster, further solidifying its positive impact on the rental market.
We are in support the HSRA initiative and are delighted to see so many new local authorities come on board. As a trusted partner for over 20 local authorities across the UK, we are well-positioned to meet the diverse needs of local councils nationwide.
Supporting initiatives like the HSRA programme helps ensure high streets thrive and remain central to local life. As high streets become more vibrant and stable, property demand increases, creating more opportunities for both landlords and tenants. This drives sustainable development, boosts local spending, and enhances the overall appeal of communities therefore benefiting all those invested in the rental market.
Andrew Parker, partner and auctioneer at SDL Property Auctions, said: “The expansion of the HSRA programme is a welcome development, and we are excited to see so many new local authorities embracing this innovative solution.
“As a business that works closely with so many local authorities, we are proud to be a part of this transformative process. Our team has the experience and capability to serve the needs of any local authority, ensuring that the benefits of property auctions are accessible across the country.”
The HSRA programme provides a vital opportunity for councils to streamline rental processes, increase transparency, and foster a more efficient rental market for both landlords and tenants. As the programme continues to grow, SDL Property Auctions is committed to helping councils leverage.
