SDL Property Auctions reports significant increase in value raised in its June National Property Auction
The UK’s number one live-streamed property auctioneer, SDL Property Auctions, has seen an impressive 56% increase in the amount raised for its customers this month, over June 2022.
The auction also saw a 32% increase in the number of lots sold compared with June last year, with an impressive 217 selling under the hammer in its National Property Auction last week.
Andrew Parker, Managing Director and Auctioneer at SDL Property Auctions, said: “It’s fantastic to see such a great uplift in the amount of lots sold in our June auctions, and we’re extremely pleased to say that it’s been our best month in terms of value raised, in two years.”
In June, SDL Property Auctions held its regular monthly live-streamed National Property Auction and saw several stand out sales, including a three-bedroomed semi-detached house in Stockport which requires a significant programme of improvements and which sold for £164,000. In Abergele, a two-bedroomed bungalow sold for £122,000, while a two-bedroomed, three-storey, mid-terrace property in Sutton in Ashfield which is producing an income of £410 per calendar month sold for £71,000.
It wasn’t just residential properties that sold well, several commercial properties found a new owner too, including a portfolio of 12 freehold industrial/warehouse units sold on behalf of Nottingham City Council that sold for £1,389,000 and a freehold three-storey, end-of-terrace commercial unit in Birmingham sold for £259,000.
A site in Derby currently occupied by two substantial detached houses, a detached bungalow and a former builders’ yard, workshop and garage sold post-auction for £1.6m. Plus, the team at SDL Property Auctions conducted the Shepherd Commercial Auction earlier in the month too, selling commercial properties and land across Scotland, including a prime retail investment in Wishaw currently let to Lloyds Pharmacy for £38,000pa which sold for £440,000.
