SDL Property Auctions’ November catalogue features the chance to bunker down underground

In Lincolnshire, the Land lying to the North West of Kenwick Hill – more commonly known as a Nuclear Bunker, will be going under the hammer. Built in the 1950s, it was designed to provide protective accommodation for three observers in the event of a nuclear attack, where they were expected to report on the nuclear bursts and fallout in the aftermath. They were provided with enough food and water for fourteen days and had a land line and radio communications available to them.
