Riverside bungalow in wide range of homes at Nottingham auction

A riverside bungalow with “splendid views” is just one of a wide range of homes at SDL Auctions Graham Penny’s next auction in Nottingham on Friday 7 July.

The two-bedroomed timber bungalow with mooring rights is on the banks of the River Trent at 14 Trentside, Burrows Farm, in Clifton Village, Nottingham, and has a guide price* of £80,000+.

Vejay Pal, senior valuer at SDL Auctions Graham Penny, said: “This beautiful property is situated in a delightful, secluded waterfront location with splendid views, and we’re expecting strong interest from bidders.

“We also have a range of flats, terraced, semi-detached and detached houses at the auction with styles and prices which means there’ll be something for everyone. We’re expecting a very busy day.”

A good example of the many terraced homes at the auction at Nottingham Racecourse is 19 Belton Street, Hyson Green in Nottingham, a two-bedroomed mid-terraced property with gas central heating and UPVC double glazing, with a guide price* of £55,000+.

Meanwhile, a three-bedroomed flat at 138A Outram Street in Sutton-in-Ashfield, said to be in “good order” and benefiting from gas central heating and double glazing, has a guide price* of £45,000+.

Also at auction will be the semi-detached Lowmoor House, Lowmoor Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, an unfinished four-bedroomed home on offer with a partially-developed dormer bungalow, with a guide price* of £150,000.

Mr Pal said: “This is a superb development opportunity situated on a substantial plot with extensive parking to the front, side and rear. We are expected plenty of bidders for this and some of our other interesting properties.”

These include a link detached, three-bedroomed house at 25 Meadow Lane in Chilwell, Beeston, which has gas central heating and double glazing but needs upgrading, with a guide price* of £127,000+.
