The auction, on Thursday 6th April at Pride Park Stadium, is set to see 45 lots offered under the hammer in front of a busy auction room of bidders and the Homes under the Hammer TV crew. The SDL Graham Penny Derby team is looking to build on the £5m+ raised at the first auction of the year, as Andrew Parker, auctioneer and managing director, explains:

“We had an excellent first Derby auction of 2017 last month raising £5m+ and taking the total raised across the SDL Auctions group to over £25m in only the first two months of the year. We’re confident of another good auction next month with plenty of excellent lots on offer for our bidders.”

Amongst the lots going under the hammer in April are:

  • 12 Grace Crescent in Heanor – a three bedroomed semi-detached house occupying a popular and convenient cul-de-sac location with a *guide price of £55,000+
  • 11 Moorway Lane in Littleover – an attractive circa 1936 three bedroomed detached house with a guide price of £195,000+
  • 63 Francis Street in Derby – a two double bedroomed mid-terraced property offered with immediate vacant possession and with a guide price of £69,000+
  • 23 Hendon Way in Mackworth – a double fronted three bedroomed semi-detached house with the potential for an extension (subject to the usual planning consents) and a guide price of £68,000+

In 2016, the SDL Auctions network, sold over 1,300 lots and raised more than £150m in sales for vendors, including £70m in the East Midlands through SDL Graham Penny. It sells a wide range of residential and commercial properties on behalf of both private individuals and corporate clients.

Andrew added: “We already have viewings set up for many of the lots in our auction and all the legal packs will be uploaded to our website for any potential buyers to download for free as soon as we receive them. Anyone looking to purchase from our auction catalogue can register as a bidder in the auction room by simply showing their ID to our team.”
