Liverpool & Wirral property expert switches sides and joins leading auctioneers
Leading UK property auctioneer SDL Property Auctions has further strengthened its valuer team in the northwest with the appointment of one of its longest-standing partner estate agency owners.
Ray Purchase has run WRB Auctions in the Liverpool and Wirral area for five years and has been partnered with SDL Property Auctions during that time selling over 70 properties and raising more than £10m together. He joins the SDL Property Auctions team as a valuer and will continue to promote the benefits of a sale by auction to sellers in his local area.
“I’ve worked with SDL Property Auctions for a long time now and already feel part of the extended team,” explained Ray. “It was an easy choice to officially join the team, combine our efforts and build on our already significant success in the area.”
Ray has worked in the property industry in the Liverpool, Wirral and Cheshire area for over 20 years, in various sales roles from trading and property sourcing through to consulting for large corporate estate agencies, before setting up his own estate and auctions agency. He has sold every type of property from two bedroomed terraces to substantial residential developments.

Ray’s appointment comes only a month after North of England property auctions expert Nick Green also joined the SDL Property Auctions team. The business has further plans to expand and strengthen its northern team of experts, as well as those across the rest of the UK, and is constantly improving its online auction platforms and systems to maintain is market-leading position.
